So here's the deal...

It's been super hectic lately, so I haven't had much of a chance to update much here. But here's a quick rundown of the happenings...

I'm now 23 weeks along....holy crap, right?! Alice is a freakin' acrobat and is constantly beating her mama up.

Mike is so excited that he can now feel her moving and kicking. The look on his face was priceless when he first felt her.

We are getting ready to move to a 3 bedroom apartment next week.....I also have my finals for school that same day. Ugh. I switched my schedule at work so I'm working nights. It's so much better now.

So we have been packing like crazy and trying to get everything done with one of us always working...

27 days left....

27 days until our appointment for our fetal scan......and we can finally know if it is Alice Olivia or Desmond Cole. I'm so excited. I have another appointment beforehand, in two weeks, and then we'll find out a couple weeks later.

Our last appointment went well. We heard the heartbeat again, this time extremely strong and loud. I also told the doctor that I had started to feel the baby flutter around 12 1/2 weeks and she was surprised. She told us we had an over-achiever in there. LOL.

Mike had been on a business trip this week and came home last night. I received a text from him saying he was boarding his last plane to come home and I got super excited and all of a sudden, the baby started doing a little Irish jig in my belly. The baby was apparently very excited that Daddy was coming home. LOL. 

I realized that I never posted pictures from 15 weeks and 16 weeks so I thought I would post them for everyone.

Sorry for the quality. My phone doesn't take the best pictures...I also think I looked bigger in week 15.....

Finally finished my finals for school and am now in two more classes. They are actually not too bad. I have algebra which surprising is fairly easy, and I have a nutrition class which has a whole thing on nutrition during pregnancy. It's awesome. 

Anyway, I will update soon about my upcoming appointments.

1, 2, 3, KICK!

So I've been feeling the baby move a lot over the past week or so. It started with me going to get a prenatal massage and while I was laying down, I felt a fluttering in my stomach. At first I was like "Oh, God....please don't let me have gas when I am getting a back massage....please..." Then I realized it felt totally different. Then we were visiting Mike's parents this weekend and we were watching an action movie with the surround sound on. There was a part with lots of loud yelling and I felt the baby moving all over the place. This afternoon I startled it with a sneezing fit. There have been a lot of other times in between but those are my fave.

We have less than 5 weeks to go til we find out the sex. I can't wait! We have an appointment this next Tuesday but it will be the next one when we will find out.

I've been going to the physical therapist for my lower back for the past few weeks. I've been having such pain. It feels like it's a nerve issue...It started before I was pregnant but now it's gotten worse. Been doing all kinds of exercises to get the pain under control...

Anyway, we are in the middle of a large snowstorm up here, so I better get my chores and homework done before we lose power.....

4 Weeks Today!!

Don't have much time to write tonight since I have to work on my finals but I wanted to post an updated pic. I'm a month along now!!!  :)

"Tell Them What They've Won!"..

...A whopping pile of uncertainty and a side of impatience! Why thank you!

Ok so here's the deal. The past 3 days I've been super nauseous and getting cramps. I don't usually get cramps until the day my period is due and I still have about 5 days until I'm supposed to start. And I never get nauseous during my cycle. So I decided to take a test last night. There was a VERY faint line. So faint that I couldn't tell if it was actually there. So therefore, not quite sure if it is a faint positive or just an evap line. I took another test this morning since they say it's more potent first thing. And that faint line was there again. If I still get the line throughout the week then I will go to my doctors for a blood test.

Other than that, not much going on. I am going crazy with all the school work this week. Can't wait until finals are over. I probably won't be writing too much this week due to that, but if I get any news I will definitely update and share. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. :)

I'm NOT Stressed Out!!!

Ok, so according to some people, I seem to be stressing too much lately. I'm NOT stressed. I'm frustrated with my job and people who tick me off. Ok, maybe a little stressed cause I have school finals this week, but seriously people...I'm NOT stressed out!

Now that I've gotten that out of the way. I've had a few symptoms today but I think it is just stuff that normally happens in my cycle. Had some cramps which was weird but perhaps implantation??  :)  Trying to not be too hopeful.

Ever feel like there are some people you should have just not opened your mouth and said something to? That's me all the time! I tell myself that I need to be more private and not tell people stuff (so I start writing an online blog about trying to make a baby), but I always tell people stuff. It's like I can't help myself. I'm really good at keeping other people's secrets, but mine? Noooo. They must be advertised...loudly.

Anyway, I get to start testing in two days...can't say I will actually wait til then to take a test. Ah, who knows? I might actually make it til then......I doubt it. :)
